What is FileMaster?
----------------------
FileMaster was written to provide functionality not available in similar file
managers. FileMaster not only provides support for basic file system
operations, but it extends them with numerous configuration options.
FileMaster was written and designed to be used by people who need advanced
file management applications.
What options does really FileMaster give to me?
-------------------------------------------
Huge amount of options, allowing you to change many behaviors of FileMaster
- Full UNICODE support. Yes! You can write in Polish, Japanese, Turkish, or
English languages. You will see all the national characters. You will see
file and folder names properly thanks to Unicode characters!
- File based operation runs in their own threads in order to get the most from
32bit Windows!
- Language change support during run time. Select from English or Polish
anytime you need.
- Future versions will come with more languages.
- Use of advanced and new features of new Windows! Transparent windows, etc.
- OpenGL controls
- File System Watching. FileMaster is capable of tracking file system changes,
similar to Windows Explorer.
- Tabs make file system operations easier. You can manage tabs, associate them
with one folder, making drive browsing a pleasure. Tabs can have file lists,
quick views, temporary folders, etc.
FileMaster was especially designed for platform : Microsoft Windows XP
Not all features are available on all platforms. You can see in the following
table how each FileMaster version differs from another:

provide features available on Windows2000/WindowsME systems.
Requirements:
--------------
* One of Microsoft Windows Version:
Windows 98
Windows ME
Windows NT4.0 ServicePack 3
Windows NT2000
Windows NT XP
* 64 Megabytes allowing to run system and FileMaster without large paging.
Windows NT2000/XP may need 128 Megabytes. FileMaster itself requires about 5
megabytes of memory, and only 1,5 physical.
* FileMaster may need a good graphical card in order to properly display
OpenGL controls in dialogs at reasonable speed.
* FileMaster was compiled to run on Pentium II processors. It will run on
slower machines, but its speed will be noticeably slower.

FileMaster requires at least IE4.01 installed, though we recommend IE5.0.
